In 2005, the two companies cemented their groundbreaking partnership to assemble Brilliance’s top-end Galena luxury saloon in Egypt by signing an official agreement at a high profile ceremony in Beijing, China.

Starting in May 2006, the “Galena 2.0L” was available from Bavarian Auto Group and through its specially established selected dealer network, which incorporate some of the biggest names in the Egyptian automotive sector.

The partnership with Brilliance China gives Bavarian Auto Group the opportunity to have a presence in all automotive segments while staying true to its core principles of superior quality and high value for its customers, in addition to the best after sales services offered by the Bavarian Auto Group.

It is worth mentioning that this joint venture has opened the Middle Eastern market for Brilliance, whilst strengthening Bavarian Auto Group's presence in the Egyptian Automotive market.

In 2007, Bavarian Auto Group launched two new Brilliance models into the Egyptian market – the Splendor sedan and the Jinbei microbus. In 2008, Bavarian Auto Group will launch two additional new Brilliance models in the Egyptian market – a coupe and a hatchback model.
